Platinum #200: Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion. Really cool that we got a remaster like this. Never played the PSP version, and just in general this fits well into the ongoing rebirth era of VII.

Those 300 missions took a while! Wow. But once I got Costly Punch, Darkness and Quake things started moving. I did rely heavily on a trophy guide with this one, first because of having a successful build for the missions, and second because there were lots of missable trophies in pretty much all the chapters.

And hey! My 200th platinum, that's sweet! It started with Uncharted 2 in 2009, that was my first one.

I finished 42 games this year. 16 of them were 2022 games, that's a good amount, I feel.

Platinum #199: Norco. Only knew about this because of OpenCritic's Hall of Fame 2022 where Norco sits on the 5th place for this year. This... was a weird game. Kindred spirits with Kentucky Route Zero, though this one has a more concrete plot. But it's still weeeeeird! I played it with a guide, a lot of the trophies are highly missable.

I love the game, it sits in my all-time Top 3, but these GOTY lists should be about new games. Part I changed nothing where it matters in that area. If it's in, I'm out.

Yoooo. I'd argue that TLoU Part I shouldn't be eligible. It's basically the same game. It is, really.

I'd almost say that to every remake; only reimaginings should be open for votes. Things like FFVII Remake (yes, I see it :P ) or the recent RE2 and RE3, along with upcoming RE4.
